I have  decided to make a page where I can post   without having to message  everyone individually.

Hi everyone..here is some info for the ones that have picked up their pups and to the ones that will be picking uup their pups in a couple of weeks. All pups are on Purina Pro plan puppy (Lamb & Rice)

Also pups have been or will be  vaccinated with the 5 way puppy vaccine.    When training pups to go out to potty..make sure you are taking them out every time they wake up from a naop, after they eat , after drinking,  after playing for awhile and they seem to slow down. DO not have them follow you to the door ..scoop them up and take them directly outside. Take away food source after 4 pm .

ALso be sure if handled by children have them sitting on floor with puppy not on a sofa or chair as pups are fast and if they jump from high  places will injure legs. NO Stairs for puppies. Do not let children run around with puppy as pups are very fast and will be under feet .

If kept in crate and you want them to have quiet time for sleeping , cover crate with blanket for security and quiet time, aso give a stuffed animal to help them settle .

All pups are microchipped   which you will be registering thru akcreunite.org in your name . Microchip number is in the inside pocket of the vaccination record you will be receiving when you pick up your puppy. You will be registering their micrcochips  thru akcreunite.org

WORD OF ADVICE for your new pups.

Please note that all our adult bostons Patellas have been examined ...so all cleared , also my vet check    all pups patellas as well during their puppy health exams.   So   please be coreful with your new puppy  ..I can't stress enough that no jumping off high places.   Jumping from high places can bear an extreme impact on the knee/growth plates    or can break their leg.  Also, Patellas may  become a problem if a puppy    jumps up and down repeatedly inside a playpen/fenced in area pounding on those knees. This being said, I had a vet explain to me that if both parents have clear patellas then if a puppy develops bad patellas it is most likely environmental hazards verses congenital  causes.

I advise all pet owners to have a pet health insurance for their babies. With the rising cost of living, our veterinarians are going to be forced to increase cost of services to stay in operation for us. It is a big investment  for these little guys.     AKC registry does offer each person a month free health insurance for trial when pups are registered. Whether our puppy buyers use AKC or not, we do advice everyone to look into a good policy for your fur babies. There is many other pet  insurance  companies.

All my pups are started at 4 weeks of  age on a  puppy mash consists of   Honest Kitchen Dehydrated Grain Free Chicken   mixed with powered goat milk/water. Then at 6 weeks I introduced soaked Purina Pro Plan  puppy lamb and rice.

Poppy's pups went to the  vets today and all are cleared to go to their new homes. All passed with  flying colors!

08/24/24

Today I have worked on all Poppy's boys contracts and have sent them out to be signed. Tomorrow I will be working on the girls. All puppies are eating very well. They are on Purina Pro plan puppy lamb and rice. All  have been on a de-worming schedule with Pyrantel P. & Panacur.  Started at 2 weeks of age, 4 , 6 and  7 weeks of age.

I have been working on their puppy packages. First booster vaccine, and all pups are now microchipped.   All pups will come with their vaccination record and microchip number and health certificate will be on the inside pocket of the vaccination record.

akcreunite.org is the place you will be registering your microchips.

When you take pups home be sure your puppy has plenty of avaiable water . I feed the pups 3 x a day . I give a handful of dry kibbles for each puppy and add some warm water. Please be sure to keep pups off the furniture  to prevent leg injuries  from jumping off high places as described at the top of this page. Also if children are handling pups be sure they are sitting down on the floor and not n furnitue  and I cant stress enough not have them running around with puppy as pups are quick and can get under foot and not to carry pups around.

Puppy package comes with some treats however I have not introduced   treats yet so be sure to do it gradually if you want to reward them for going out to potty. You can switch it up with dry kibble and  the pup will think it is a treat.

Be sure to set up an appointment with the vet and get pups on a de-worming schedule. Pups will be due for vaccinnes again around    12 weeks of age. and again at 16 weeks and  until then be sure  to keep your puppy safe from diseases and illness till they have received all their booster shots. They are not fully protected till they have had their series. So keep strangers from petting your puppy, strange dogs, and also  keep off  the ground except for your own property. NO dog parks !

Happy November!!      Update On Naudia's two boys. Both are doing well and have posted photos of them on Naudia's litter's page..sorry I did not post photos of the right away till now. With all that has been going on with me losing my horses and losing pups I did not dare to jinx myself.

Naudai has adopted Umara's only surving male . He is not growing but is thriving at this time. I will be waiting before posting any photos of him. I too k him from Umara worried that maybe Umara might had some kind of infection passing it on thru her milk so took him away as I did not want to lose him too and  put umara on antibiotics .

I  am trying to move forward and keep my head up due to all this loss. I have switched my adults to another  kibbles which does not have peas!    I am hoping I did it in time  for my next litters.   So hard finding good food and knowing what is safe and what   has nutritional value  .

I have an Update on Goldfinger. He  is no longer in my breeding progam. He has been adopted out to  Joel Bradley. Goldfinger is in his retired home. He will surely be missed. So sad not seeing him here . In his place I do have his son Ozzie. However I  am still debabting if I will be using him as he is a big boy with a big boxy head and worry about passing  it down on the pups making them too large to be born naturally. ALso Ozzie tends to have a bit longer coat  than my other bostons. SO will see.

Please be patient for updated photos of Sunkist litter as I will be working on puppy pakcages and contracts for this litter. I will be doing updated photos at some point in the next few days of her pups and doing Sibling portrait.

Naudia will also be leaving to her retirement home after her pups are weaned.

11/06/2024

I took updated photos of Sunkist litter's photos however will take time for me to post this litter since I am working with 6 pups. I already posted sibling portraits    on Sunkist litter's page.
